In New York, as throughout the United States, it is illegal to sexually harass or discriminate based on various protected classifications in the workplace.
Both New York State and New York City have laws mandating training for employees. This collectively includes all employees and extends to independent contractors. This training must be done within ninety (90) days of hire and annually thereafter.
