Workplace Violence Training Requirements

California recently enacted SB 553, which makes it a requirement for California employers to provide training on workplace violence prevention beginning in 2024. This legislation highlights the growing importance of addressing workplace violence across various industries.

In response to this new law, EEO Training has developed two versions of workplace violence prevention training:

  • California-specific version: This version is designed to meet the specific requirements outlined in SB 553, ensuring California employers can comply with the law.

  • General version: This version is suitable for employers in other states across the United States, providing comprehensive training on workplace violence prevention best practices.

This approach allows EEO Training to cater to the specific needs of California employers while also offering a valuable resource for organizations nationwide that prioritize a safe and secure work environment.
